  • Why your body keeps storing fat in your belly + hips during perimenopause (and how to stop it)

In your late 30s, 40s, and 50s, the drop in ovulation, progesterone, and the roller coaster of estrogen changes start messing with your insulin and blood sugar. That means more fat storage (especially around your belly + hips) unless you make some key changes. 

Here’s what to avoid if you want to keep your hormones and weight balanced: 

✨1. Skipping breakfast & loading up at night 
Not eating in the morning (then eating big late at night) sets you up for irritability, anxiety, mood swings, and stubborn weight. If you’re not hungry at breakfast, maybe you’re eating too close to bedtime. 
✨2. Eating after 7pm
